Women’s Advisory Board is co-sponsoring an event featuring author Tracy Thomas on Tuesday, October 27 at 7:30 p.m. in Lean Lecture Room. Thomas, the Seiberling Chair of Constitutional Law and Director of the Center for Constitutional Law at The University of Akron School of Law, has published a book The First Woman Judge about Florence Allen who was the first woman elected to any state Supreme Court when she was elected to the Ohio Supreme Court in 1922.

A pre-lecture dessert reception and book signing will begin at 7:00 p.m with the lecture to follow at 7:30p.m. The event is co-sponsored by the College’s Pre-Law Advising Program and the Wayne County Bar Association.

The Mayfest Benefit Brunch was held Sunday, May 17, 2026 on a beautiful spring day in in Kittredge Dining Hall on the College of Wooster campus. The Mayfest Brunch is the Women’s Advisory Board’s primary fundraising event. 

Melissa Hartman, Assistant Director of International Student Services at the College, coordinated a study break during exam week when international students gathered in Lowry Center to enjoy crafts and a snack. This year is the 50th anniversary of the WAB-sponsored cookie break. Best wishes to our students!

Our 2025 Mayfest Scholarship Brunch is planned for Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Kittredge Hall.
Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for students, $10 for children, and free for children younger than the age of 5. Brunch features waffles, a turkey carving station, mini quiches, and plenty of desserts.
